We launched Hormuud Salaam Foundation in partnership with Hormuud Telecom, Somalia's first corporate foundation to support local communities.

We were the first bank to introduce ATMs into the country. The first of their kind in the country, they gave Somalis widely available, secure, access to cash for the first time.

We launched introduced the Waafi app, the country's mobile banking app, providing access to a variety of digital resources. It allowed people make in-country bank transfers using their phones for the first time in Somalia.

We launched our livestock insurance programme with the World Bank and ZEP-RE. This supports pastoralists through drought by promoting savings account and a 90% subsidized livestock insurance.

As part of the Somali Bankers Association, we signed an MoU that will link all financial services provided by institutions across the country to the National ID system.

We launched cryptocurrency service, the first of its kind in the country. It allows people to buy and sell cryptocurrencies using their phones for the first time in Somalia.
